Changes current law to include any similar prior offenses from other state or tribal jurisdictions when determining the classification of the current charges of driving under the influence or exercising control of a vehicle while under the influence. Any prior convictions automatically make the current charge a Class C felony. This act removes the ten-year window for relevant prior offenses.   Official Text and Analysis.
