2011 House Bill 1107: Concerning diseases carried by wolf populations
Introduced by Rep. David Taylor (Moxee) (R) on January 12, 2011
Requires the Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Department of Health, and the State Veterinarian to develop a program to address the diseases carried by wolves that could impact human health care in the state. The program will include reporting, alerts, and public outreach. The Department of Health must fund the program through grants without any money from the general fund.   Official Text and Analysis.
