2011 House Bill 1097: Changing offender registration periods for crimes committed by juveniles
Introduced in the House on January 12, 2011
Modifies the registration requirements, including registering as a sex offender, for a person who commits certain felonies while under the age of eighteen. The duty to register ends after a certain amount of time passes after release from confinement, or a shorter amount of time passes after sentencing for anything less than confinement if no new offense is committed.   Official Text and Analysis.
