Clearly, Attorney General McKenna is one of the few in the state and federal governments understand the Constitution. Or to put it another way, defends the clear intent and meaning of the Constitution.

The U.S. Constitution purposely limited the role of the federal government as our founders understood the propensity of government to become tyrannical. It enumerated only those areas in which the federal government had authority while stating each state was a soverignty. The Constitution was written to give the states the authority to push back on an overreaching federal government and that is exactly what Mr. McKenna has understood with the mandate included in Obamacare that forces all individuals to purchase health insurance.

Tragically, the people have willingly or ignorantly allowed the federal government to go beyond its Constitutionally enumerated powers, with the help of activist and social-engineering judges and state legislators. Congress has claimed for itself powers to regulate human behavior that would shock the founders into unbelievability.

The state is the only defense the people have against a tyrannical federal government. But tragically, the states have allowed their Constitutional authority to be overridden by Congress almost since the Constitution was ratified.

Mr. McKenna is courageous to go against the tyranny of the federal government in its unconstitutional quest to dictate to us all how every aspect of our lives should be lived and he is not only protecting Washington State citizens from this continual overreach by the federal government into areas it is not authorized to stick its nose into but clearly understands the seriousness of this latest attack on individual rights from a federal government getting us closer to a dictatorship each day.

Sen. Adam Kiline and his ilk want to punish the Attorney General , an independently elected official, for signing on to the lawsuit by 25 other States to have the SCOTUS find Obamacare unconstitutional.  Adam Kline, an extreme lLiberal,  is one of the reasons this State is in the financial trouble it is in.  If the voters in his district had any sense, they''d get rid of him.  He should be the poster child for term limits.  Unfortunately, many of his constituents are kool-ade drinkers.
