The Democrats will not stop in their quest to increase revenue one way or the other. That is a fact that no one can deny. If this bill doesn't pass, they have many others waiting in the wing.
Gregoire sent the legislature a list of 185 ways to increase taxes and fees so they have a lot they can use and we can be sure they will.
2) Re: 2012 House Bill 2728 (Increasing flexibility and diversity of local government revenue) by DCRyle on January 29, 2012 Are you kidding me? We need LESS government control and they are proposing more? More Fees (hence, taxes). Their budget is not enough yet? They are going to be getting more money with the way the liquor sales bill was passed. Now they also want the ability to tell us that they are going to raise our costs without us having any control, I mean, why would they expect us uneducated masses to know what is best for ourselves? This reminds me of the movie V for Vendetta which I just watched last night. Except for the conservative being the problem man in charge. Read people, pay attention to this idiocy. Stop these elected officials from taking control of our lives. They work for us. Fire them! Vote them out this year! I am so irate about this bill even being put in for a vote.....
NO NO NO to this bill!

I agree that we do not need any new taxes! NO! NO! a thousand times no! Control of what taxs we have must remain at the local level where we have a little control and local situations may require different approaches ( tax rates).
