2012 House Bill 2424: Requiring drug testing for applicants for benefits under the temporary assistance for needy families program

Requires drug testing for anyone applying for benefits under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. The cost of the test must be paid by the applicant. Individuals failing the test can reapply in one year or in six months if they have successfully completed a substance abuse treatment program.   Official Text and Analysis.
