Cindy Ryu, (Shoreline) (D) on February 9, 2011, requires the Department of Commerce to develop protocols for associate development organizations and Department staff for the development recruitment and retention of business. This act requires the Department to work collaboratively with organizations and counties to carry out state-identified economic development priorities. This act creates reporting requirements for development organizations in King County.
