Allows counties, flood control districts, diking districts, and public agencies to remove gravel from streams and waterways within their jurisdiction when a determination is made that the removal is necessary to reduce the impact for potential flooding. This act requires a consultation with the Department of Fish and Wildlife. This act prohibits the Department from prohibiting, conditioning, or penalizing any action authorized by this act.
