• Introduced by Sen. Phil Rockefeller, (D-Kitsap County) (D) on January 25, 2010, exempts the sale of renewable energy machinery to electric utilities from sales and use tax. Starting in 2011, this exemption will be for 75% of the state sales and use tax.
