• Introduced by Sen. Phil Rockefeller, (D-Kitsap County) (D) on January 21, 2010, requires vessels to immediately report potential oil spills to the military department and estimate the extent of the damage. Also requires vessels and facilities that have the potential to spill oil into water to immediately activate their oil spill contingency plan if they have spilled oil. (See also HB 2964).
