 The gov. needs to take a pay cut and save money where needed and not raise taxes. maybe if she had not raided the rainy day fund years ago there maybe money available today for the idious over spending she does on daily basis. as far as i am concerned state employees cops,firefighters,teachers should not be unionized after all they are paid by taxpayers. she could also take the DFW land buy funds away for 2-3 yrs.instead of closing boat ramps and parks for the people that have to live on a budget or are laid off

The Governor should ask the legislature for an across the board reduction and go on with normal business hours.


Instead the elite feel little if any pain while the front line is flogged yet again.

 I agree with your assesment that the guv and the legislatuors should lead the way on cutting their salary, if only for leadership purposes, instead, they vote themselves a pay raise.
