This bill seems to be far more concerned with the welfare of domestic partners than disabled veterans. Only vets with a rare 100% disability rating qualify while all the others with lower ratings get nothing. Also the property owners exempt from paying additional voter approved taxes still get to vote increases in their neighbors taxes. I think the original intent of this bill whatever it was, has been lost somewhere in all the re-writes.

It would be nice if they only used our taxable income for property tax exemption. A lot of states exempt 100% diabled vets from property taxes the state of Oklahoma even exepts sales tax. It doesn't pay to have a wife that stays with you after you become diabled

 Let's get this bill moving out of committee, on to the House and Senate floors, passed and to the Govenor's desk for signing.
