• Introduced by Sen. Dan Swecker, (R-Rochester) (R) on January 28, 2009, provides that a municipality may, permit a retired participant to resume volunteer service as a firefighter. A retired participant who chooses to resume volunteer service is not eligible for disability payments for injuries related to such service.
