Introduced by Sen. Craig Pridemore, (D-Vancouver) (D) on January 23, 2009, limits the use of fertilizers containing the plant nutrient phosphorus to protect lake water quality. Prohibits a person, under certain conditions, from applying a fertilizer containing phosphorus to turf or to an impervious surface. Provides penalties. (See also Companion HB 1636).
