Introduced by Sen. Michael Carrell, (R-Lakewood) (R) on January 16, 2009, provides for additional times to be added to the standard sentence range for felony crimes committed if the offender or an accomplice was armed with a firearm and was wearing body armor at the time of the offense. Times added are five years for Class A, three years for Class B, and eighteen months for Class C felonies
