Introduced by Sen. Joe McDermott, (D-West Seattle) (D) on January 16, 2009, to join with other states and elect the President of the United States by popular vote. This act only goes into effective if a majority of other states choose to elect the President by popular vote.

The electoral college was created specifically to give rural areas some representation instead of being overwhelmed by the urban vote. No doubt you have noticed that the urban areas are predominantly blue, and the rural areas are predominantly red. Nice try guys. I think we're about 100 years late for a constitutional uprising.

So why don't you clowns just throw out the whole constitution by legilative fiat? Let's strenghthen states rights and power instead of destroying them.
