• Introduced by Rep. Maralyn Chase, (D-Shoreline) (D) on February 10, 2009, prohibits food service businesses from selling or providing food for consumption on or off the premises in expanded polystyrene (also known as “styrofoam”) food service products with certain exceptions, effective January 1, 2010; and (2) In or with disposable plastic food service ware, effective July 1, 2010.
