 THAT's RIGHT!

If we truly believe that killing is wrong, why do we kill people who killed?  If two wrongs don't make a right, why try more?  There is too much history of people being found (not Guilty) or what we might call INNOCENT long after sentencing.  While others are pushing for faster sentencing and carrying out executions, It seems clear that we have to slow down because we have flaws in the system.

We seem to live in an age in which it's OK to ask our government to kill somebody to make us feel better, but when somebody kills (for whatever reason, but 'without authorization', we think it's wrong.  We need to re-evaluate our system so we don't look so hypocritical on this issue and consider MODERN, Civilized, sentencing.  "An Eye for and Eye" is from the dark ages and (carried too far), leaves us blind.
