Introduced by Rep. Gary Alexander, (R-Olympia) (R) on January 20, 2009, to add a sales and use tax exemption for durable in home medical equipment and for components of prosthetic devices. The exemption also includes mobility enhancing equipment. A new section is created to cover sales and use tax exemptions for oxygen tanks and other related materials.
