2009 House Bill 1390 (Modifying names and titles within the acupuncture profession)

Introduced by Rep. Tom Campbell, (R-Roy) (R) on January 20, 2009, to change the name of the acupuncture profession to oriental medicine practitioners. The purpose of the act is to bring properly attribute the professionalism of these practitioners. This act provides new definitions and additional titles that are consistent with the purpose of this act. See also SB 5320.
