Introduced by Rep. Dawn Morrell, (D-Puyallup) (D) on January 14, 2009, to provide greater consumer protections. This act provides new definitions regarding unsolicited goods and the use of promotional advertizing with prizes. The bill requires greater disclosure to the consumer about renewals of free products and limitations. This act also deals with the use of personal information and uses by a promoter of an event.
