Introduced by Rep. Brian Blake, (D-Aberdeen) (D) on January 14, 2009, holds accountable any person or government agency who fails to follow requirements for obtaining a hydraulic project approval and allows the department to issue a stop work order on all activities and to correct the issue at hand. Establishes that failure to obtain hydraulic project approval is a civil infraction and failure to comply with stop work orders or to correct the infraction may result in punishment as a natural resource violation. Penalties prescribed are up to one hundred dollars per day.
