• Introduced by Rep. Brendan Williams, (D-Olympia) (D) on January 12, 2009, establishes that home buyers receive common law implied warranty on homes purchased within six years of construction. Applies to the construction of home remodel projects as well. Said warranty will be guaranteed by construction professionals which includes but is not limited to architects, builders, builder vendors, contractors, subcontractors and engineers.
