Introduced by Sen. Derek Kilmer, (D-Gig Harbor) (D) on November 29, 2007, to reinstate the one percent regular property tax limit approved by voters through I-747 in 2001. This act is in response to a decision handed down by the State Supreme Court that threw out the tax cap that was implemented with the enactment of I-747. This act is retroactive to 2002 (see companion HB 2416).
