  • Introduced by Sen. Jim Clements on January 23, 2007, to modify current laws and allow motorcycle drivers to proceed through traffic signals if certain conditions are met. The bill requires motorcycle drivers at controlled intersections to first come to a full and complete stop. However, if the traffic control signal fails to operate after one cycle of the signal, then the motorcycle driver may, after exercising due care, proceed through the intersection. See companion HB 1625.
    • Referred to the Senate Transportation Committee on January 23, 2007.
