• Introduced by Rep. Larry Springer, (D-Kirkland) on February 5, 2007, to exempt manufacturers of proprietary treatment products that use soil-based denitrification processes in the drain fields of on-site sewage disposal systems from registering the products, under certain conditions. The bill goes on to list several requirements for the exemption .
