2007 House Bill 1550: Creating the Washington community learning center program.
- Introduced by Rep. Joe McDermott (D) on January 22, 2007, to create the Washington Community Learning Center program. The new program would encourage after school activities for students by supporting the creation community learning centers, providing training, increasing public awareness and supporting after-school organizations. How about linking this to local libraries? by Anonymous on January 25, 2007I don't see any detail to this proposal, but think it is important. How about creating these centers in or adjacent to school and public libraries?
I look forward to this idea being developed further. I hope you will reach out to the PTA organizations and get them to help on this.
