  • Introduced by Rep. Tom Campbell, (R-Roy) on January 10, 2007, to require the Department of Health to run a background check through the Washington State Patrol for health care provider applicants. The bill would also require the department to periodically report to the Legislature on the effectiveness of the background checks for screening out unqualified applicants. See companion SB 5424.
