1) Parental Reliability [by Anonymous on December 1, 2005] You are right in saying that parents should be responsible. Columbine was one example, but one that is just as good was the lady whose son was killed by a car. HER car. The kid got caught in the power window and she said it was the manufacturer's fault. Now, being a parent , i sympathize her loing her child but, 1] why was the kid alone in the car, and 2] why were the keyes in the ignition? But it was G.M.'s fault. They are right about a taking a village to raise a kid, because sometimes the parents are the idiots. Reply
2) There goes the TV [by Anonymous on November 30, 2005] Have they started burning books yet?
We "the People" have been raised on TV and look at us now! So I agree that video games are not the best toy for our children, HOWEVER, if parents want to raise their children on garbage they need to expect garbage as a result. The same applies to eating habits...have they made over weight children against the law yet? Well, never mind I'm sure they'll get to it. Reply
3) Note from an outsider [by Anonymous on September 8, 2005] When I first saw this bill,I couldn't stop laughing . And then I realized that it wasnt a joke... I know most of the american people actually doesnt
care about this so-called videogame violence, but WHY do you let those few whining people run everything? People around the world laugh at the Unitet States because of this. Sorry to say this, but with all these restrictions and crazy laws, the US is going to end up as a gigantic kindergarden. Where is the freedom in that?
