To require that a group insurance contract, blanket disability insurance contract, and an insurer that offers to any individual a health benefit plan that provides prostheses coverage will include coverage for hearing aids. To provide additional cost-control provisions. Prior to being fitted with a hearing aid, a person must receive a recommendation of a physician, advanced registered nurse practitioner, or a physician assistant.
