• Introduced by Sen. Jim Kastama, (D-Puyallup) on January 29, 2003, to allow levy proposals to authorize annual renewal of levies at specified rates for up to six consecutive years without a new ballot vote. See also Companion HB 1518.
  • Referred to the Senate Government Operations and Elections Committee on January 30, 2003, but the bill did not receive a hearing by the cutoff date so it is considered a "dead bill" (although technically the bill could become active at any time during the 2003-2004 session).
