• Introduced by Rep. John Lovick on January 29, 2003, to create a law enforcement memorial license plate. These special plates would honor Washington law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. See also Companion HB 5485.
  • Referred to the House Transportation Committee on January 30, 2003, but the bill did not receive a hearing by the cutoff date so it is considered a “dead bill” (although technically the bill could become active at any time during the 2003-2004 session).
