2008 House Bill 3359 (Concerning pistol ammunition)

Introduced by Rep. Al O'Brien, (D-Mountlake Terrace) (D) on February 7, 2008, to require that all pistol ammunition be encoded that is manufactured, sold, or purchased in this State. This act would also require the Department of Licensing to create a database that would track pistol ammunition through a mandatory registration program for sellers of pistol ammunition. Provided in this act are definitions and penalties for non-compliance.

Is this Bill dead? I am very concerned as it sounded very bad to me. There is a run on guns ammo and reloading supplies here where I live in Eastern Washington. I am about to write a letter to my representatives and would like to know before I post it.
